Deviations from Code of Conduct in Emergency Situations

The Public Utility Commission of Texas Substantive Rules 25.84(h) and 25.272(d)(4) and Sharyland’s Code of Conduct require reporting deviations from the Code of Conduct when Sharyland employees are temporarily assigned to an affiliate or non-affiliated utility to assist in restoring power in the event of a major service interruption or to assist in resolving emergency situations affecting system reliability. Information regarding any such deviation will be posted here within 30 days and for at least 30 consecutive calendar days.

Discounted Products or Services to Competitive Affiliates

The Public Utility Commission of Texas Substantive Rule 25.272(f)(2) and Sharyland’s Code of Conduct require any discount, rebate, fee waiver, or alternative tariff terms and conditions for any product or service being offered by Sharyland to a competitive affiliate be made contemporaneously available, on a non-discriminatory basis, to all similarly situated non-affiliates. Information regarding any such discounted product or service will be posted here for at least 30 consecutive calendar days.

Aggregated Non-Proprietary Customer Information to Competitive Affiliates

The Public Utility Commission of Texas Substantive Rule 25.272(g)(2) and Sharyland’s Code of Conduct require that any aggregated non-proprietary customer information provided to a competitive affiliate be made available to non-affiliates under the same terms, conditions, and price. Information regarding the provision of aggregated non-proprietary customer information will be posted here no later than 24 hours prior to Sharyland’s release and for at least 30 consecutive calendar days.

New Affiliates

Name of new competitive affiliate:  Hunt Energy Solutions, LLC

Date competitive affiliate was created:  Hunt Energy Solutions, LLC was created in 2011; however, the entity will be repurposed to develop unregulated energy infrastructure, and upon such repurposing will become a competitive affiliate.

Competitive Bidding Requests for Proposal

The Public Utility Commission of Texas Substantive Rules 25.272(e) and 25.273(d) and Sharyland’s Code of Conduct require Sharyland to provide notice when it intends to conduct competitive bidding to purchase products and services, other than corporate support services, that are offered by an competitive affiliate or when it intends to sell to any competitive affiliate assets that have a per unit value of more than $75,000, or a total value of more than $1 million.
