Lubbock Power & Light Integration into ERCOT

On March 8, 2018, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) approved Lubbock Power & Light's (LP&L) proposal to move a portion of its system from the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) grid to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) grid. The PUCT also selected Sharyland Utilities and LP&L to build the transmission facilities to interconnect LP&L's system to ERCOT.
